Adelina V. Jeffers Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Services for Adelina V. Jeffers will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Servants of Christ Church with Pastor Ron Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Alexandria Memorial Gardens under the direction of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at the funeral home and resume at 9:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at the Servants of Christ Church, 1111 Maryland Ave, Alexandria, LA 71301. Adelina V. Jeffers of Alexandria was born March 22, 1935, in Pulupandan, Philippines, and entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 30, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Adelina met Master Sergeant Calvin V. Jeffers Sr. while he was serving at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. Together they married and began their family. After four years, they moved back to the United States, eventually settling in Louisiana. She will be remembered as a loving wife and a mother of six children whom she loved dearly. Adelina found Jesus at the age of six and was a faithful servant of the Lord all her life. She loved praying for people, inviting them to church, and most of all loved the Lord Jesus Christ. Impressed by the Holy Spirit, she started Green Beach Church of the Nazarene in the Philippines over 50 years ago. Green Beach has now expanded and branched into two new churches. During her life, she was always known for giving and helping in her church community. One of Mrs. Jeffers greatest joys was cooking her famous eggrolls and fried rice for returning and stationed soldiers at England AFB and Ft. Polk. She became a “second mom” to so many people with her sweet personality and big smile. Mrs. Jeffers truly lived the gospel and never knew a stranger. She will be truly missed by all of her family, friends and those lives she has touched. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of forty-five years Master Sergeant Calvin V. Jeffers Sr; son Calvin V. Jeffers Jr; grandson LCpl Leon (Matt) Jeffers; mother, Jaunita V. Noblezada; father, Petronilo Noblezada; brothers, Salvador and Hesus Noblezada; and sister, Gaudiosa Noblezada. Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Judy Jeffers Hanks of Oklahoma City, Ok and Cheryl Jeffers of Arlington Tx; three sons, Leon Jeffers and wife, Brenda, of Alexandria, La., Donald Jeffers and wife, Renee, of Boyce, La., and John Jeffers of Alexandria, La; one sister, Lorna Noblezada Butiong of Negros Occidental, Philippines; 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers will include Aaron Medoff, Andrew Medoff, Ethan Hanks, Shane Jeffers, Isaiah Jeffers Wright, and Jeremiah Jeffers Wright. Honorary Pallbearers will include Leon Jeffers, Donald Jeffers, John Jeffers, Hector Zapata, Michael Pineda, Sandy Wright, Greg Condley and Chris Mayes.
