She also attended LSU and Charity School of Nursing, before finally finishing her BSN-RN at McNeese in 1990. She worked as a pediatric RN at Boston Children’s, New Orleans Children’s and Tulane Children’s Hospitals. She was very involved in her community. She was a long serving board member of the Hope House of Central La. As chapter president of Chi Omega for CenLa she wrote innumerable recommendation letters for those rushing her beloved Chi O. Adrienne will be remembered as THE connector of people; she loved to make friends and connect them with all of her other friends. If you were her friend, you knew no better friend. She threw the most memorable parties, and made sure everyone at the party had a good time. She wrote timely thankyou notes; if her note arrived after more than 30 days, it was the Postal Services fault. She made all of our lives richer and more fun. She will live on in all our hearts and memories. A memorial fund has been established at the Hope House of CenLa, P O Box 7477, Alexandria, LA 71306, cenlahopehouse.org.
