Bouth Xanamane Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Bouth Xanamane born on August 1, 1916, in Savannakhet Province, Laos died peacefully at her home in McNary, Louisiana on July 4, 2022, at the age of 105. Visitation will be at John Kramer & Son Funeral Home located at 2905 Masonic Drive, Alexandria, LA 71301, beginning on Friday July 8, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monk Ritual Starts at 4:00PM. Visitation resumes on Saturday July 9, 2022, at 11:00AM with a Buddhist ceremony starting at 1:00PM. Burial will follow at Alexandria Memorial Gardens located at 8855 US HWY-165, Woodworth, LA 71485. She was preceded in death by her husband Tha Xanamane and her children (starting with oldest) Mr. Sysoumphanh Xanamane, Mrs. Catharine Lounarmichack, Mrs. Neuw Xanamane, Mr. Kiko Xanamane and her grandson Saysane Sonemangkhala. She is survived by six remaining children Ms. Phouthone Xanamane, Mr. Theu Xanamane, Mrs. Khamthanh Mankhamthala, Mrs. Thang Riengxay, Mr. Sourinhya Xanamane, Mr. Khatiya Xanamane; and her seventeen grandchildren: Amonelath, Phanat, Samko, Latavanh, Saengatith, Kounalong, Linda Mui, Jerry, Anthony, Junior, Benjamin, Winston, Claire, Owen, Anun, Andre and Macki; and her nine great grandchildren: Ranaldo, Millian , Reese, Jordan, Kingston, Lia, Raimee, Kailey, and Rylee. She was born in a remote village in the Savannakhet Province of Laos to parents Phomma and Jee Mahanorat. She married Tha Xanamane circa 1949. She had a total of 11 children. She arrived in the US circa 1983. Her family settled in Iberia Parish, Louisiana until 1999. In the 2000s much of family resettled in Rapides Parish, Central Louisiana. She was a dedicated Lao Buddhist practitioner. At the time of her passing was among the few remaining local Lao elders that helped originally establish the Lao Buddhist immigrant community in Louisiana.
