Cynthia J. Brouillette Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Services for Cynthia J. Brouillette will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2022 in the chapel of Kramer of Fifth Ward with Rev. Keith Lamartiniere officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery #3. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will resume on Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. until time of service. Cynthia J. Brouillette, 63, of Fifth Ward, passed away peacefully in her residence on Saturday, July 23, 2022, with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her father, Farrell Case, and her sister Sherry Huggins. Cindy was born on June 25, 1959, in Memphis, TN, and enjoyed life in Arkansas and Louisiana. She started a career as a registered nurse, and later enjoyed a career as a beautician and a beauty instructor. She opened her own Barbershop in Alexandria and took great pride in its success. Cindy and Monte were married on November 9, 2001; and made their home in Fifth Ward, where she enjoyed being outdoors and gardening. She had a deep love for family. Cindy loved spending time with her grandchildren and family especially during the holidays. She was very proud of her grandchildren and was able to see two of them graduate high school and start their college journeys. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Monte Brouillette; her son, Brian H. Franklin; grandchildren, Anthony H. Franklin, Kayli K. Franklin, Kara J. Franklin and Ella Brouillette; her mother, Ruth Case; three sisters, Denice Schwake, Nila Wiemers, and Mildred Case; and 2 brothers, Jimmy Huggins and Joseph “Joe” Huggins. Pallbearers honored to serve will be Brian H. Franklin, Anthony H. Franklin, Joseph “Joe” Huggins, Blake Brouillette, Justin Brouillette, and Hunter Huggins. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Holtz and Jimmy Huggins.
