Services for Kitty Allen McGlothlin Lipscomb will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, in the chapel of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Michiels officiating . Interment will follow Greenwood Memorial Park under the direction of the funeral home. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, June 20, 2022, and resume from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the Kramer Chapel. Kitty Lipscomb, 73, of Alexandria, passed away on June 14, 2022, at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. Kitty unexpectedly entered eternal peace on Tuesday, June 14, 2022. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother. Kitty was a true friend and cherished the many friendships she made while working for the electric department. Kitty is preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Allen; sister, Patty Allen Legult, and niece, Angie Bruff Jacks. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Thomas M. Lipscomb; two sons, James Allen McGlothlin and Timothy George McGlothlin; her father, George L. Allen, Jr.; sisters, Janet Armstrong (Phil), Ginger Allen, and Nancy King; brother, George L Allen, III; aunt, Jessie Jackson and children. Kitty is also survived by her nieces Terri Ann Deen, Gracie Bruff, and nephew, Terrence Bradley Bruff, as well as several grandnieces and grandnephews. Pallbearers honored to serve will be Tim McGlothlin, Tyler Jacks, George Jacks, Justin Brossette, Caleb Jones, and Travis Nasello.
