Linda K Magnano

September 22, 1954 - November 24, 2021

Services for Linda K. Magnano will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, in the chapel of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Strain officiating. Interment will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at the funeral home. Linda K. Magnano, 67, of Woodworth, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in her residence. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Thaddeus and Clarice Kosienski; one grandson, John Michael Wynn; and the father to her children, Nicholas Magnano. Linda was born on September 22, 1954, in Meriden, Connecticut where she also graduated high school. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she participated in many group activities, sang in the choir, watched her grandsons run in the Turkey Trot 5K, and lit candles with her family every year at the Calvary Christmas Eve service. She retired from her job as a service provider for UPS after 25 plus years. She played a significant role in the founding of the Cenla Soccer Association, currently known as Crossroads Soccer Association, where she coached and served as an administrator in its early years. Her further involvement with soccer included her time as the first President of the Cenla Soccer Referees Association; a position her son, Nick holds today. Linda showed her family and friends unconditional love through many sentiments, memories, and “Linda moments” she shared with everyone. When her health declined, it never stopped her from putting everyone before herself. Through the good times and bad, nothing stopped her from being the number one fan at soccer games, cross country meets, football, baseball, cheer competitions, and plays for every one of her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren lovingly called her “Grams.” Linda’s family remembers their Grams as their sunshine who knew how to make everyone happy on a cloudy day. Those left to cherish her memory include her three children, Jennifer M. Wynn (Chris), Nicholas J. Magnano (Marlene) and Nicole M. Anthony (Ian); five grandchildren, Tyler Magnano, Lexi Wynn, Matthew Magnano, Remi Clare Anthony, and Rubi Belle Anthony; three brothers, Eddie Kosienski, Freddie Kosienski, and Gary Kosienski. Linda is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and her two fur-babies “the girls,” Addie Raye and Bella Grace. Pallbearers honored to serve include Nicholas J. Magnano, Tyler Magnano, Matthew Magnano, Ian Anthony, Chris Wynn, and Chris Lovecchio. Honorary pallbearers honored to serve include Thomas D. Buckley, Eddie Kosienski, Freddie Kosienski, and Gary Kosienski. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to the J.W. McDonald Community Center, 878 Robinson Bridge Rd., Woodworth, LA 71485. To extend online notes of condolence to the Magnano family, please visit www.KramerFunerals.com.
