Services for Michael D. Baudry will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2, 2022, in the chapel of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Brandow officiating. Committal service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA with Military Honors being provided by Fort Polk Army Honor Guard. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Michael D. Baudry, 74, of Alexandria, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Alexandria Veterans Medical Center. He is preceded in death by Marjorie Elaine Rogers, Walter Frank Baudry, Pamela Ann Irving Baudry, and Richard John Baudry. Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army for 17 years, specializing in nuclear arms navigation. Leaving the military, he went on to revolutionize the oil industry with the evolution of GPS. After retiring from O.D.E.C.O., he worked for St. Frances Cabrini Hospital as a Bio-Med Technician and was responsible for bringing a 19th century hospital into the 21st century. Michael was a loving husband and father. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Henneth Baudry; children, Alvert Hans, Jamillo Brandon, Matt Baudry, Tina Baudry and Monica Besson; grandchildren, Cole Goodman, Tobi Collins, Montana Krill, Tori Baudry and Danielle Krill; great- grandchildren, Melody Colligan and Rory Collins. He is also survived by his siblings, Peggy Baudry and Michelle Baudry and their families.
