Nedric Guillory

Services for Nedric J. Guillory will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, August 28, 2021, in the chapel of Kramer of Fifth Ward with Bro. Keith Lamartiniere officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery under the direction of Kramer of Fifth Ward. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until the time of service on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the funeral home. Nedric Guillory, 89, of Echo, passed away on August, 22, 2021 at his residence. Nedric is preceded in death by his parents, Levy Guillory and Octavia LaCombe Guillory; his sisters, Erlene Guillory Wendt, Nelda Guillory Lamartiniere, and Evelyn Guillory Dean; and his brothers, Daniel Guillory and Earl James Guillory. Nedric Joseph Guillory graduated with honors from Southwestern University of Louisiana with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He was dedicated to his career and his family. In his spare time, he loved being outdoors, spending time with his family, and was a car enthusiast at heart. He would spend hours researching cars and owned many, with his favorite being a Porsche 935. He spent time with his children teaching them astronomy in the evening and attending car races in the southeastern states. He loved to tell stories and eat desserts. Nedric Joseph leaves behind his partner of 47 years Marjorie Bordelon. Those left to cherish his memory include, his children, Constantine Rita Guillory of Colorado, Collin M. Guillory (Debra), of Poland, LA, Willard L. Guillory of Poland, LA, Sanford P. Guillory (Debbie) of Poland, LA, Patricia Bordelon (Chuck) of Effie, LA, and Nick J. Guillory (Amanda) of Lafayette, LA; his grandchildren, Bryce Turner, of Colorado, Kayla Guillory Holloway, Lauren Guillory Brasseaux, Lyndsey D. Guillory, Mason Paul Guillory, Matthew Cornell Guillory, Laine Scott Guillory, Dustin Wayne Brouillette, Donnie Ray Ducote; his great-grandchildren Cadence, Kennedy, Benet, Camille, Sophie and Davin; his sisters, Loula Guillory Buckley Normand of Alexandria, LA and Audric Paul Guillory, of Poland, LA. Pallbearers honored to serve will be Collin M. Guillory, Willard L. Guillory, Sanford P. Guillory, Nick J. Guillory, Mason P. Guillory, Matthew C. Guillory, and Laine S. Guillory.
