Services for Phyllis Mae Cheek will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 23, 2022, in the chapel of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Paul LaPalme officiating. Interment will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at the funeral home. Phyllis Mae Cheek, 85, of Alexandria, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022, in her residence. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Cheek; her mother, Heloise Knobloch, and her father, Earnest J. Knobloch. Phyllis was born and raised in Alexandria, Louisiana. She attended Providence Academy and retired from the Alexandria Credit Union after many years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Her loud, outgoing personality will be missed by many. Those left to cherish her memory includes her daughter, Cindy Fallon (Todd) of Woodworth, LA; her son, Kenneth Cheek (Pamela) of Erath, LA; her brother, Earnest J. Knobloch, Jr. (Dinah), of Diamond Head, Mississippi; grandchildren, Christopher Juneau, Casey Juneau (Chelsea), Candance Van Dine (Jacob), and Cody Juneau (Anna Claire), Connor Cheek (Amy), and Kayleigh Cheek; along with three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers honored to serve will be Casey Juneau, Christopher Juneau, Cody Juneau, Connor Cheek, Jacob Van Dine, Kenneth Cheek, Todd Fallon, and Cameron Faulk.
