Services for Raymond Joseph Juneau will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022, in the chapel of John Kramer & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Marc Noel officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held in the Kramer Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Ray Joseph Juneau, 77, of Lecompte, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Ormond Nursing and Care Center, Destrehan, LA. He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Patricia; parents, Fred and Grace Bordelon Juneau; and two sisters, Carol Larroux and Karen Vitrano. Ray was a graduate of Bolton High School and a longtime member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Lecompte. He spent decades operating as an insurance auditor in the State of Louisiana. Ray was an avid fisherman and loved being on the lake. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, especially with his friends. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Janelle Juneau; grandson, Remy Barbara; and two sisters, Mary Juneau and Patricia Melancon (Eric). Pallbearers honored to serve will be Remy Barbara, Carl Berlin, Jimmy Bordelon, Justin Giallonardo, Richard Schneider and Eric Melancon. Honorary pallbearer will be Anthony Liotta. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
