Thomas M. Henley was born on Thursday, February 9, 1950, and passed away from this life on Monday, February 1, 2021 at the age of 70. Affectionately known as Tommy, but to his oilfield crews it was just Tom. Tommy spent 50 years in the oil industry. He was a lover of football, fast cars and rock and roll. Family was his # 1 priority, he loved spending time with his dog Mabel and his grandson Hayden. Tommy was a loving father, grandfather, uncle and brother who will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Doris Keen Henley, and one sister, Laura Virginia Henley. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Justin T. Henley and his wife Catherine; daughter, McKensi L. Henley; his grandson Hayden C. Henley; a sister, Jan Brown, and one brother Carlos Henley. To anyone who knew Tommy, knows that he would not want you to grieve his death but to celebrate. A celebration of life ceremony will be held at Noon, on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Valentine Lake Pier. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer memorials be made to the National Riffle Association at www.nrafoundation.org, or to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) at www.aspca.org.
