Graveside services for Wilbur “Rod” Gene Rodriguez will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Lamartiniere Cemetery with Bro. Keith Lamartiniere officiating. Rod Rodriguez, 78, of Marksville, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, in his residence. Rod is preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Smith Rodriguez; his parents, Wilbur and Elizabeth Crooks Rodriguez; one brother, Danny Rodriguez; and daughter, Carmen Rodriguez. Rod was born on March 24, 1942, in Pineville, Louisiana. He was a laborer and worked in construction. He will be missed by all. Those left to cherish his memory include his four children, Bridgette Rodriguez, Buster Rodriguez, Rhonda Rodriguez, and Christine Rodriguez Brown (Stephen); three siblings, Walter Rodriguez, Dickie Rodriguez, and Betty Rodriguez; along with ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
